So Impressed with myself!

I actually painted this to match Chloe's room!

Bargains are the BEST!!

I stopped by Sears today in AF (going out of business) not expecting to walk out with anything. A--my wallet is a little empty these days and B--I've never found anything there before. Low and Behold all of their bedding was 75% off! Recently we upgraded Logan to a full bed and Chloe to a twin....needless to say, they were both in NEED of new bedding! I was really surprised that I found all of the sheets and acessories to match and that I got it for so CHEAP! Logan's room is decorated in a sports theme...and Chloe's in flowers.

It's all about me!

I have been trying to do an all about me book for so long, tonight the kids are having a sleepover at someones house and I had all of this time to spend. My Aunt gave me this cute Creating Keepsakes/Heidi Swapp kit for Christmas a couple of years ago and I've never done it! I got it all finished tonight and it was so fun! I am not a big journaler and even though my handwriting is ok I don't like to write on my own pages, so this was a stretch for me! I encourage all of you moms out there to do this for yourself. Plus....If anything should, heaven forbid, ever happend to me...my kids will have an inside look into me!

2 MORE DAYS

Day 6-Black Diesel Tennis Shoes (I know that naming the brand is a little dorky but it's a shoe store thing.)
Day 7-Suede Rocket Dog Moccasins!

One week down....lots more to go!

"One pair of shoes can change your life." -Cinderella

I have to confess...I have a lot of shoes. Last time I counted there were 85 pairs not including flip flops. I think that I have a problem. I have also noticed that my really comfy stinky shoes get worn A LOT. And that my pretty, tall, colorful, and painful shoes are lined up in the top shelf and go un-noticed. Some of them have NEVER been worn. And then there is the good deal shoe...the shoe that looks a lot better now that it's ONLY $5. They don't get worn a lot either. So my challenge to myself...I am going to TRY to wear a different pair of shoes every day until I've worn each pair once. HA HA. I guess I'm going to have to put a check off list in my closet so that I don't double up! While I was pondering this shoe addiction that I have...I realized that for the last 5 whole days, I've worn a different pair. 80 more to go!!! Hopefully we get warmer soon so I can wear all of my sandals!!

Day 1- Asics
Day 2- Black Rocket Dog Flats
Day 3- Black Madden Girl Boots
Day 4- Camoflauge (yes I know, they were $5) Mia Tennies
Day 5-Black Steve Madden Dress shoes

On a roll!!!

With the right shoes on, a girl can conquer the world!

I got this adorable Valentines dress for Chloe at Old Navy and check out those red shoes! She is so cute I can't help but post these pictures!

Owl Obsession

I kind of have this new scrapbooking obsession with owls. There is such cute owl paper out there! And I think the WHOOT part is funny. So I recently got a shirt with the ugliest owl on it...but I LOVE it! I was really excited and showed my *only* male co-worker my new shirt. You know what he said? "If you worked at HOOTERS you could have an owl on your shirt all the time!" Now if you know him, he says this stuff all the time so I wasn't offended and just rolled my eyes. Now I just need a little plastic surgery and I can get my dream job! WHOOT WHOOT!

Snow Day

I really don't like the snow. I hate being cold, I hate getting wet, and that's pretty much it. Being the ALL STAR MOM that I am...I helped build the snowman. Do you want to know what happened to me? I was the only one without a snow suit and boots first of all, so I was cold and wet from the start. I was rolling the freaking snow man head and fell over! My shirt slid up in the back exposing my back to the snow and ice. Needless to say I screamed pretty loud. While my husband was laughing his head off....my sweet, wonderful, well behaved dog (sense the sarcasm) jumped on my face, repeatadly!!! So my whole body, back and face was cold and wet!Sure glad I got good scrap-able pictures!!! I really like this picture of Taylor and I...and I don't even have make up on. Whoo-Whoo!
